New Skiing Amenities at Tamarack Resort

Five thousand acres of expert backcountry terrain are in store this winter for skiers in the Tamarack Resort in Idaho.

Jeanne-Pierre Boespflug, Tamarack CEO, says that the backcountry terrain offers the best chutes, cliffs, and bowls in the region that would definitely give an extreme skiing and riding experience for winter sports enthusiasts. He adds that their skiing terrain is now five times larger compared to last year.

The US Forest Service has also issued a special permit allowing Tamarack Resort to offer guided backcountry terrain services on both north and south of the resort. Moreover, aside from the added 5,000 acres of skiing terrain, other new amenities in the Tamarack Resort include more than 250 acres of gladed tree-skiing terrain, three new runs, and a 1,700-square-foot Sled Shed. The U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix on February 24-25 will be the highlight of Tamarack's winter events.

Tamarack Resort will be opened on November 22.
