Ski poles and their relevent length is very important to enjoyable skiing.

Choosing the right pole for your style is crucial to an exlerating day on the slopes.

Ski Poles function best when they are lightweight and have a comfortable grip.

How to choose ski poles:

Steps:

1. Stand up straight with your arms at your sides.

2. Bend your elbows 90 degrees, so your forearms are parallel to the ground.

3. Turn the poles upside down so the grip is on the ground and you're holding the pole by the bit of metal that extends beyond the basket. While holding the bottom of the pole, your forearm should remain parallel to the ground. .

4. Alternately measure the distance in centimeters from your parallel forearm to the ground.

5. Pole size generally ranges from 42 to 52 centimeters.
