Nakiska, Alberta was host to the 1988 Winter Olympics and is equipped with one of the most expensive and sophisticated snowmaking systems in the world. The end result is that skiers can depend on quality snow coverage from mountain top to valley bottom, from early December through mid-April.
Located just minutes from downtown Banff, Mount Norquay Ski Resort is conveniently located and offers a wide range of terrain: 11 percent beginner, 45 percent intermediate and 44 percent expert. With 90 percent snowmaking capabilities, Mount Norquay offers some of the best grooming in the Canadian Rockies.
